Emily Cumming Harris in New Zealand and Australia is based at the University of Auckland under the direction of Emeritus Professor Michele Leggott, with assistance from dedicated researchers and support from a growing community of interest. The project received funding 2017-19 from the University of Auckland Arts Faculty Research Development Fund. In 2025 Te Papa Press published Groundwork: The Art and Writing of Emily Cumming Harris by Michele Leggott and Catherine Field-Dodgson.
